Bhagavad Gita , often referred to as simply the Gita, is a 701-verse Hindu scripture in Sanskrit that is part of the Hindu epic Mahabharata The Bhagavad The Bhagavad Gita is set in a narrative framework of a dialogue between Arjuna and his guide Lord Krishna. Facing the duty as a warrior to fight the Dharma Yudhha or righteous war between Pandavas and Kauravas, Arjuna is counseled by Lord Krishna to "fulfill his Kshatriya duty as a warrior and establish Dharma. Bhagavad Gita which was told in Sanskrit has 18 chapters. Noted Telugu writer and novelist Sri Malladi Venkata Krishna Murthy has translated this into simple Telugu language so that each common man can understand the essence of Bhagavad Geeta. Listen to all 700 slokas to attain moksha. These slokas were chanted by noted Music director singer Srinivasa Sarma .
